LC Jessamyn's Polka Dot Pants
Jessamyn, my decoupage artist in Nolita, shows me that hard decisions are sometimes optional.
Purpose or style? Pants or personality?
How about both?
She wears scarlet polka-dotted pants while she applies glaze to a vermillion serving platter and then that night slides into the black pair for dinner at Bar Pitti (approving looks abound).
The pappardelle al ragù di anatra is divine.
And the pants? Easy but not casual. Elegant but not fussy. The sort of effortlessness that is surprisingly effortful to capture.
Jessamyn’s Polka Dot Pants (No. 4187). Sateen fabric. Flat front with fold-over pleats at front panels. Covered elastic waistband at back. Satin hanger loops. 30 ½" inseam.
