Red Side-Button Coat
Fire and Ice.
In the 1950s, there was a certain color of red that sent America into a frenzy. There was even a quiz to see if you were “qualified” to wear it. If you were devilish, dynamic, demure and essentially the most tantalizing woman to ever walk the face of the earth, you were in.
There are striking similarities with this side-button coat. It may not necessarily make you the most exciting spectacle to walk down Broadway this fall or winter, but it’s debatable.
Red Side-Button Coat (No. 5441). Wear during a steady snowfall to increase the excitability index. 100% wool. Notched collar with lapel, princess seams, single pearlized button (with interior security button as well). Welt pocket at left chest, double-welt pockets with flap at hip. Fully lined. Enjoy making a little noise during winter’s silence. Imported.
