The Double-breasted Leather Jacket
Rings a Bell.
You’re not exactly sure where you saw this double-breasted leather jacket.
Was it the tube from Piccadilly to Knightsbridge last week? That old photo of famed aviatrix Jackie Cochran exiting her Northrop (in full makeup, no less). Wait, it was the Mapplethorpe exhibit. Maybe it was that noirish dream about the femme detective in the dark sunglasses, you know, the one with the cigarette in her hand and the hapless jake in her back pocket.
You can’t say for sure exactly where you saw this. Maybe it was all those places, in some shape or form. Regardless, if these are the things ringing your bell, you’re in the right headspace.
