1959 Party Dress (No. 5938). A lustrous pure cotton poplin that is sturdy and elegant enough to see you into the new decade. Distinctive V-neckline with point collar at front and back that extends to the shoulders. Waistline seam with four box pleats at the front and back gives the skirt volume and drape.
Cuts a lovely figure with the princess seams at the front bodice and back shaping darts. Skirt falls to the mid-calf, on-seam side pockets, fully lined in acetate taffeta, invisible zipper at center back. Imported.
