Tate & Lucille Dress
Tate & Lucille.
Tate meet Lucille. Lucille, meet Tate. You two will get along fabulously.
Lucille loves vintage. Drive-ins. Soda jerks. Nightclub acts. Polka dots and pleats.
Tate’s from London. She’s very modern. Bold and crisp. She has a flare for galleries and panache. Lucille’s a ball, hilarious. And since Tate likes a pop of color, I know this will be a match made in heaven.
And I’m never wrong about these things.
Tate & Lucille Dress (No. 5937). When vintage and contemporary get on so well, it ought to be illegal. We must start (and end) with the ensemble of pleats since this entire fit-and-flare style dress has alternating box and knife pleats of varying widths from head to toe, all stitched down, just below the bust to the hip area. Combined with the print, the effects are fabulously hypnotic.
Other noteworthy details include the demure self-fabric ruffle detail along your neckline, dolman-style dropped armhole, and low-calf length. The poly crepe shell is fully lined in acetate taffeta. Imported.
