Vintage French Polynesian Dress
Bridgette Bardot fell in love with it.
Brando loved it so much he bought an island and married his Polynesian co-star while still married to two other people (his island is now a resort bearing his name).
Must be something in the water, the sun, the rum and pineapple. Maybe it’s the waiter serving up wild boar on a flaming short-sword tableside. Then, there’s the dancing, set against a Tahitian beat that goes on well into the night. People went and never came back. The ones who did wished they hadn’t.
I can see the allure.
