This is the reason I want time travel to be invented.
To get to the Left Bank just after the first Great War and long before the second.
To see Kiki the Queen throw plates at Man Ray upon hearing he’d found another lover. To see her posing for the greatest artists of the day (or any day). To see her sing and dance and love and laugh at Chez Kiki. To see her in the decade and city she owned, where she lived by no one’s rules including her own.
It is but a whisper in time now.

Alice’s 1920s Dress (No. 4942). Poly chiffon bodice. Fitted skirt with crochet lace overlay. Dropped waist with gathers to create a blouson effect. Slight boat neckline with dyed to match sheer mesh at front V. Deep V-neckline in back. Fully lined in stretch poly spandex knit.
