Double-Breasted Biker Vest
Mysteries in London.
All we know is that our vintage spies found it at auction. They revealed, based on various stitching details, that it was handmade and not from production-a one-off.
I have not scoured the entire globe, nor the entire internet, nor that perilous void known as the dark web, to find its equal, but I have done some looking.
If you ride, you will ride well in this. The nappa goat leather is rich and substantial, made to combat the elements. The double-breasted front secures your body within and can be buttoned all the way to the neck for max protection. You might ride with a crew, but you will stand alone in this.
If you do not ride, this vest is even more of a statement. Under a sport coat or jacket, worn with a collared or collarless shirt, or donned completely shirtless (some of you have the gumption for this).
I suggest leaving the first one or two buttons undone and letting the corner flap over, like a lapel.
Conversations will ensue.
