10 Percent Cashmere Collarless Sweater
The 10% Rule.
Bumming around Ireland, keeping my eyes open.
What is it about these fishermen’s sweaters and Henleys?
They’re quite at ease fireside with a glass of Flagman’s Vintage and equally comfortable on the docks of Killybegs.
You add in some buttons and cashmere for softness, not too much though, about 10%.
Too much softness and you lose the Killybegs of it all. What you’re left with is something a little more refined and sensible.
You may find yourself telling the gent next to you, “Hold my port, would you? I think these high winds are about to topple the Oak once and for all.” Next thing he knows, you’re in the shed gathering ropes and carabiners and choosing between the 16-inch or 20-inch Husqvarna.
This is one scenario.
