LC Hell Creek Sweater
For dinosaurs, that is.
I’m one to learn from history. Today on this windswept mountain, I’m wear testing this red sweater (color preferred by rescue choppers) with special lining around shoulders to make it windproof in Montana’s fast and extreme temperature swings.
My guide is also wearing it (although I think only because it was free).
I can’t believe Lewis and Clark would’ve missed all these bones back in 1806. Especially since it’s what Jefferson wanted them to find-proof of big animals.
8 p.m. now. Windy. Cold. Campfire in view again.
Found only one bone (pretty sure my guide tossed it there). This sweater is my discovery (Jefferson would have been proud).
