Cole's Boxer Shirt
The Strong, Silent Type.
Cole’s a curious guy. Doesn’t talk much, and no one knows where he’s from, exactly. He has a syrupy Southern accent, but I heard him speak perfect French on the phone once. Could be twenty-five or forty-five. His hands are labor-swollen, yet he offers the softest handshake.
And then he wears those t-shirts. They’d look good on anyone, but on him, the material seems tailored to his frame. The sleeves tease out hints of the tattoos on his upper arms. What’s that say—Airborne? Honneur et Fidélité? O-NEG? Isn’t that a blood type? He just smiles and shakes his head.
When he wears the button-collar open, a faded silver chain peers out from the neckline. There’s a pendant tucked just out of sight under the fabric, right next to the whispers of another tattoo.
All I have are more questions (a very good sign).
