LC Subtle Italian Pinstripe
I had a friend once who wore 21-carat gold collar stays. Really.
'Why do you bother?' I asked. 'Nobody will ever notice.'
'You're probably right,' he smiled, 'but I feel better just knowing they're there.'
That was long ago. My views have changed. And when I ran across this pinstripe shirt in Italy, I knew I had to bring it to your attention.
It is, without question, the shirt equivalent of wearing 21-carat gold collar stays.
The pinstripes, you see, are one set of colors on the outside of the fabric (e.g., Red and Blue) and a different set on the inside (Dark Blue and Pale Blue). Not only that, they're slightly raised, three-dimensional, with what looks like obsessively minute ribbing on the edges.
How do they do it? An Italian state secret.
Subtle Italian Pinstripe Shirt (No. 2422). Generous cut of cool, crisp cotton-blend fabric with 8-button front. Double back yoke. Shirttail hem. Nobody will probably notice, but you get used to that. Imported.
