Parisian Alley Coat
In the Shadows.
There’s a silhouette in the alley along withthe unmistakable sound of boots on cobblestone. A tuft of hair is surrounded by a dramatic collar.
The wind catches the sweep of his opened coat, sending it whipping back and forth, making that same sound a flag makes in high wind. Just when his face encroaches on the light, the shadows and that collar steal it back.
In America, there are cowboys.
In Paris, they have their own version.
