LC Euro Zip-Neck Jacket
Unexpected downtime on a Paris shopping expedition last fall, a chance to get in some horseback riding.
I bought this jacket for the occasion.
Good move. There was a nippy breeze on the trail in the Bois de Boulogne, but my new jacket’s tight weave and zip neck kept out the wind and chill. That curved shirttail hem sits well over your legs and rump in the saddle, too.
Later, on the street, still wearing this jacket, I was asked for directions by an American couple speaking in phrase-book French. And in a cafe, a waiter refilled my wine glass without me having to wave for his attention.
That certainly was a first.
Distinctive Euro Zip-Neck Jacket (No. 2222) in serious cotton twill, fully-lined. Buttoning chest pockets, epaulets, and adjustable cuffs. Odd, robust four-piece sleeve construction. Two hip pockets angled for easy access, like hacking pockets, plus another zip pocket inside.
You speak English with hardly any accent, m’sieur.
