Blacksmith Red Wings
Forged for Life.
When you pull these boots out of the box, you’ll understand why they were originally worn by men who hammered, bent, and shaped metal. There’s a sturdiness to them, a protective confidence at play. The leather feels impenetrable, the stitching riveted tight, like the fuselage of an aircraft.
Blacksmiths and farmers wore these boots to work and would then shine them up and wear them with their “good clothes” to town. That, too, will be apparent when you pull them out.
Blacksmith Red Wings(No. 6268). Since 1905, Red Wing has been committed to quality materials and construction. This 6-inch blacksmith style is made from copper rough and tough leather. Patented Vibram®430 Mini-lug outsole. Goodyear welt construction.
The triple-stitched seams come via the Puritan sewing machine that has been holding things together since the 1860s, melding latex into the sewing thread to produce a more water- resistant seam. 36-inch copper flat waxed lace. Dull gilt hooks and eyelets. Bump toe for added room up front. Great in dirt, snow, and the forge. Striking on men and women. Made in USA.
