Discovered at a tack shop near Windsor Castle. Thin, strong capeskin, supple and sensitive. Excellent grip on steering wheel. Nuances of road-feel come through.
I call them 'stealth' because unlike string-backs, they can be worn outside the car without suggesting to the world that you think you're Juan Manuel Fangio.
Capeskin Gloves (No. 1144), with peccary finish, for men and women (gusseted thumb, 14 stitches per inch). Light elastic on underside of wrist for snug fit. Sueded interior. (Capeskin: South African sheepskin, often shipped from Capetown.)
