The Insanely Good Spotted Dress
Spotted One Evening.
I believe it was Einstein who defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
Was he speaking of polka dots?
We know you are an aficionado of polka dots, or spot patterns, as this would technically be. We know there is an entire wing of your closet flowing with varying dot sizes and colors.
This one is different.
First, the darker palette of this dress makes it evening-friendly. There is the figure-flattering self-fabric belt that starts at the front princess seam and wraps unconventionally around the back. Two inverted box pleats at the front and back give the skirt drape and volume. Somehow this dress retains the fun and flirty nature normally associated with polka dots but comes off dressier. A little more fancy.
Is it insane or just insanely good?
