The Beaded-neck Derby Dress
Anything Can Happen.
Audrey Hepburn was the third choice behind Elizabeth Taylor and Jean Simmons for “Roman Holiday.” Can you imagine it with anyone else? In 1913, Donerail won the Kentucky Derby at 91–1 odds. It’s still the record.
Maya Angelou dropped out of school at fourteen to be a cable car conductor. She would go on to write some insightful things.
Life is most unexpected.
In this, you might be that very thing which they don’t expect.
You will not wear this lounging on the chesterfield or picking through tomatoes at the farmer’s market.
This is a destination piece, resting in your closet like Bruce Wayne’s Batsuit or Wonder Woman’s weaponized earrings. It's for that wedding, the derby, the Jones’ blah blah blah.
You know your social agenda much better than I.
What I know is your mission.
Slay them all.
