LC Rumination Vest
To Wear Warm Clothing.”
-J. Keats, 1820.
I like to take long walks this time of year, re-read “To Autumn,” think about Keats.
Too bad he never got to visit his brother over in Louisville. There were still some people in this part of the country who remembered his nephew when I was growing up, though... his name was John Keats, too.
This vest helps the rumination process. It's as mellow as a vest can be, and warm enough if I spend a bit longer out in the woods than I had planned.
The soft, rich pigskin suede has a color you see often here in Kentucky on fall days. The zip-up ribbed neck is quite effective when a chilly breeze comes up. Looks good under a faithful tweed jacket that has a good decade or two on it.
Rumination Vest (No. 3026). Luxurious leather body with heavy-duty knit cotton hem, armholes, and zip-up neck. Cotton lining. Welted vest pockets to stick your hands in, and a leather-welted inside pocket with secure button closure.
A thing of beauty.
