Windowpane Flannel Shirt
We all had, or knew one in our lifetime. The father, grandfather, or uncle who traded in his suit and tie come Saturday morning for a shirt like this. He drank black coffee from a battered old thermos, and had a favorite fishing hole or tree stand. If we were lucky, we got to go along. He taught us to bait a hook, build a fire… skills we don’t use often enough, but never forget. He wore it to beat the chill of October when splitting wood. You’ll wear it whenever you want to slow the pace down and do something right the first time.
Time to take up his mantle.
