LC 1913 Polo
I’m not a boastful person, but I don’t want to be forgotten either.
I put golf on the map here in America.
It happened in 1913, in a game dominated by British and American wealthy (and me).
It was rainy that day, all tied up after 72 holes. I wasn’t supposed to win.
But sometimes one round, one match… can change everything in a man’s life.
Later, they stripped me of my amateur status, because I was trying to build my sporting goods business, selling shirts just like this. I fought them, got it back. Later, I enlisted and went to war. When I came back, I won a few more big rounds.
JP loves second acts. I hope you do, too.
Maybe this now classic polo will help you remember.
1913 Polo (No. 4495). Classic short sleeve cotton polo. Prewashed for extra softness. Two natural buttons. Cotton ribbing at collar and sleeve.
