I had my eye on a vintage two-tone job.

So did, I notice, some of the other potential buyers.

I watched as she deftly raised her paddle to bid on the Ferrari and noticed the way her Kimono sleeves flared.

She would, I suspect, look great in the photograph standing next to it.

1940s Two Tone Dress (No. 3414). A meticulous reproduction of the original knee-length A-line, which I've rendered in a substantial medium weight silk georgette that has texture and depth. Flattering wrap front. Kimono sleeves. Six facet dome studs in antique silver finish will match the silver hood ornament on a 1939 Pontiac Silver Streak. An absolute classic.

You'll take it out for a spin to the Ferrari showroom and they'll know who they're dealing with.
