I have just read that the new postcool movement will “involve the dominant forces of the old paradigm scrambling to co-opt the new ones.”
What does it all mean?
I have no idea.
However, I suspect this pre-postcool blouse from Milan will no doubt affect the paradigm, with its profusion of spring flowers and devilish little bow, and co-opt everyone in sight.
All of which makes it postcool, don’t you think?
Postcool Bow Blouse (No. 3614). Deceivingly romantic cut in pure breathable cotton. Contrasting bow built into neckline can be tied a little tighter or looser depending on your mood. Raglan sleeves. French seams. Side slits. Flattering shape comes with a feeling of perpetual spring.
You’ll wear it, with white linen pants and red sandals, to the sculpture garden at MOMA and then over to the King Cole Room at the St. Regis Hotel to continue the discussion of how Alberto Giacometti’s “Walking Man” relates to the 21st century.
Women’s sizes: 2 through 18.
Colors: Blue/white flowers, hot pink/white flowers.

Price: $68
