Next thing you know, she whisks me down a narrow, cobblestone street and into a small-unmarked shop extolling the virtues of her bag.

Inside, I come face-to-face with some of the most beautiful embossed leather I’ve ever seen.

The Allegra Handbag (No. 3475). An Italian classic made by hand. Rich cognac color in finest 100% ostrich embossed leather. Two interior fabric pockets, one large zip pocket, and a silver ring for keys, which eliminates the frantic search for them. On the outside, self-fabric tabs and silver leather detail around the zipper pocket. Top zipper closure.
