Vintage T-Shirt.

What is this? It looks old.

Well, it’s a vintage T-shirt. It’s new, but looks old.

It’s new but looks old?

Well, it seems new, but looks old.

Seems? You mean it really is old?

Well, you know when you’re out buying a couple of steaks and maybe some antifreeze and you decide on a pack of T-shirts at the same time?

You mean it’s like that?

Well, it’s like that... but different.

A lot different.

(Adding to the mystery, the original historic labels were accidentally removed and replaced by our own. Sorry.)

Vintage T-shirts with short (No. 1501) or long (No. 1530) sleeves and a chest pocket (always handy). Noticeably more substantial cotton than you normally find in T-shirts these days, pigment-dyed to achieve the effect of great age. Although newborn, they start out looking good (and old). And stay that way. And they don’t disintegrate just at the point they’re starting to get good. Imported.

Men's sizes: S (34-36), M (38-40), L (42-44), XL (46-48), XXL (50-52).

Ain't no better in the land.
I've owned maybe 2 dozen of these amazing tees since the founding days of J. Peterman. I live in them and I can't wear the damn things out.
Best t-shirts on the market
These are the very best t-shirts I have ever had. The fabric is very thick and they have been pre-washed so that they are extremely soft. I only regret not buying more before my preferred colors went out of stock.

Best I've ever owned
I like pocket tees, and wear them every day year 'round - summers alone, and winters under full shirts. I have about 20 of them of several different brands. I got a couple of these for Christmas, and now wonder why I never tried them in the past. They are the best fitting, most substantial, and one of the softest I have ever owned. The drape is excellent, and the collars lie nice and flat (no curl or pucker). Unfortunately, I think JP is dropping them. They have very limited stock, and no larges at all, in any color. I hope I am proved wrong, and can get more of these.

Super T
This is a heavy weight T that I wear under my wetsuits as a commercial diver. Takes a beating and is warm wet or dry. Not your Grandpas T shirt!!

My favorite plain t-shirts
Ive tried a handful of higher end t-shirts from other companies (not trendy ones, but American/heritage style shirts) and these are the best. The material is thick, it looks nice when you wear it since the fabric has weight to it. Its also durable, I have several shirts that Ive put through 50 washes with no signs of wear. The only thing I want is more color options - gray and white are awesome shirts that go well with dark denim jeans!
