Antique Garden Sprayer. This restored copper, brass and steel pump-up sprayer was manufactured by the Girodolle company of Bordeaux, a supplier of agricultural products beginning in the late 19th century. A wonderful collectible for the gardening enthusiast. The engraved brass plate reads GIRODOLLE, CONSTR BTE S.G.D.G. (patented, sans garantie du government, i.e., without government guarantee, a legal mention freeing the state from any responsibility for the proper functioning of the device), BORDEAUX. Ca. 1900.
