One of 55 Edition de Luxe copies on large paper, signed by the fly dressers and the editor. Publisher's full crushed red morocco gilt, a.e.g. by Aquarius, cloth slipcase. Spine ever so slightly faded. Fine. Westwood and Satchell p.190 (for first edition). Superbly produced reprint of one of the earliest English works on fly-fishing and tying, a rare local work which preceded Bainbridge (1816), Carroll (1818), and Ronalds (1836). The short-lived Honey Dun Press issued a series of modern editions of notable angling books using the finest materials and, for the de luxe editions, incorporating hand-tied flies or actual specimen hackles.
