Magnificent antique French coffee mill manufactured by J.B. Lauzanne, Paris. The very large and weighty mill is constructed of cast iron and fitted with a steel conical burr grinder which allows the beans to be ground with precision and uniformity. The attractive solid brass hopper, crank arm with wooden handle, and wooden catch box and drawer with porcelain knob complete the mill. It is embossed with “J.B. Lauzanne, A Paris.” Ca. 1890.
