A Blouse, Lingerie or Both?

The New York Times reports in 1917 that the Lingerie blouse has captured Paris.

"Lingerie blouses are everywhere. They seem to grow more lovely as they increase in popularity…tendency toward individualism in Women’s Wear becoming noticeable."

American males would, if they were in Paris, and their wife or lady friend wasn't, bring a few home from the best stores. And buy off any number of sins.

(But who am I to judge?)

I don’t know if it's every woman's fantasy, but I think I can speak for men when I say this blouse is up there in the fantasy department.
