Classic Aviator's Scarf.Aviator's Scarf (No. 4018). The prevalent version, first cut expeditiously from retired parachute silk. Worn by airmen (and women) as early as 1910, well into the 1940s; closed cockpits and full instrumentation made it less and less necessary, more and more dashing.

Aviator's Scarf (No. 4018), substantial double-layer of sandwashed Ivory silk twill with finished seams on all four sides. Dimensions: 13" wide x 71" long.
