Bistro seltzer bottle made of wicker and glass with a porcelain base. The opening above the porcelain base housed the gas cartridge. Once ejected into the water chamber, the water would fizz. This highly unusual and rare apparatus was also in regular use in pharmacies. Roanne, France. Ca. 1850.
