Black Ooh-La-La Pants (No. 2214).Is chain mail trendy this year? Is white the new black?

Don't ask me, I'm not in the fashion business. But there are some issues even I can't avoid…low-rise pants versus high-waist pants, for example.

A titanic struggle seems to be going on between these two schools of pants. Well, I have nothing against the female navel; given a choice, though, I'd rather see you in these.

High-waisted beauties, originally found in France, brimming with what the French technically refer to as “ooh-la-la.”

They slim the waist. Lengthen the legs. Flatter the curves. They even help to fend off the tug of gravity.

Ooh-La-La Pants (No. 2214). Pure linen, deep pleats, and right back pocket. The topstitched waistband that curves up to center notch in back, very nice.
