4-bottle carrier or “Pannier” was generally used to transport wine bottles home from the shop and return the empties for deposit. Made of galvanized zinc with wooden handle. Makes an ideal presentation on a side board or an excellent way to transport a few bottles on a picnic. Ca. 1930.4 bottle carrier (C894).
