Last Chance Dept.
There was a time in this country when a man threw on a sturdy 9-oz. cotton moleskin to “go outside for a few minutes.”
The man would not return for three hours.
Was he in the shed measuring and cutting things? Pulling dead plants out of the ground?
Yes, there was a time when men didn’t need a pullover.
You’ve seen black-and-white photos of lumberjacks who looked like they were dressed for the office.
Look through the old albums: You have one of a great uncle dressed this way, wearing muck boots, building a dam in the quarry.
This moleskin collared shirt looks very good indoors but knows it can do the work when you need to “go outside for a few minutes.”
