It’s been known to happen.
Sans the accent of course.
On a cool day, I’d throw on this shirt, my tweed blazer, and my black velvet cap.
Then Jefferson, my rather tall (16.3 hh) equine companion, and I would go out for a hack.
“Hacking” is what the Brits call informal riding.
But add in a proper outfit, some etiquette (only hack out with an equal), and you’ve got pageantry.
An event.
This suited Jefferson just fine, as he was a blue ribbon champion and was accustomed to doing things with gusto.
Our English Riding Shirt (No. 2834) is a piece of that simple but effective pageantry.
The interlocked cotton is incredibly soft but also keeps things firm.
The side slits offer some more freedom and the band collar won’t make your neck itch even when it’s buttoned all the way up. Even on the 20th mile of fence line.
If you’re like me, you’ll have your next great idea
in this shirt.
