8-Wale Cords.

The theory used to be: pants shall be either luxurious and elegant, or casual and not so elegant, and that is that, and you may as well get used to it.

These pants fly in the face of all that. With the right tweed jacket or blazer, you could wear them to accept a Nobel Prize and get away with it.

You could also stay home, skip shaving, and park yourself in your Adirondack chair overlooking the lake for days on end, reading how H. C. Earwicker spent his day.

These cords, in fabric made from Milan’s premier mill, have a luxurious feel, not unlike velvet. Velluto Duca Visconti di Modrone is one of the few mills that hand-cuts the pile.

Men’s Plush 8-Wale Cords (No. 2811). In velvety cotton. Double front pleat. On-seam front pockets, two double-welt back pockets with buttons. Six interior suspender buttons. Eight belt loops. Interior French-fly closure. Made in Portugal.

Men’s even sizes: 32 through 46. Hemming (max: 37”) or cuffing (max: 34”), add $2 per pair.

Colors: Tan, Brown, Navy, Charcoal, OD Green.

Broken Hearted
Grey? Not even close. In most light's they are a muddy green to lavender. The pants are the best I have ever seen. But the color. Not so much. Back they must go. I am truly broken hearted.

Very pleased!!!!!
I have nothing negative to say. The material is first-rate. Fit is correct. The details is where I am overwhelmed. Cross-stitching on the buttons a rarity I have to badger my tailor to do this! The braces buttons are wellcome remember Oscar Wilde, Trousers should hang from the shoulder not the waist. I wear bracers!!! My tailor will charge $15 to sew in these buttons. The $2 cuffing is, again, a bargain...another $15 charge. I will order another pair for the Autumn. And finally, thank you for pleats!

OMG. So nice.
Perfect fit. Outrageously handsome, and comfortable indoor and out. Best trousers that I have every owned. These are for a regular, mature man...not a skinny whinny.
