There are a few things that men always look good in.
Black tie.
1929 Mercedes SSK.
And a varsity jacket.
I've never met anyone who didn’t look good in a varsity jacket.
Maybe it's because the first time we put one on we had our whole life in front of us.
Junior year in high school.
On the verge of manhood.
Just starting to understand that life is what you make it – and the possibilities are unlimited.
Of course, if that's still your philosophy, it doesn’t matter how old you are. You'll look just as good.
J. Peterman Varsity Jacket (No. 2616). Actually started out as the varsity sweater at Harvard in 1865. The baseball team embroidered an "H" on their gray flannel uniform shirt. Ten years later, the football team started wearing them and before long they could be found at every high school and college in the country. Sometime during the 1940s the sweater was replaced by the jacket.
Tightly woven blend of 90% Melton wool and 10% nylon. A true three-season jacket. Six enameled snaps, two besom pockets, and thick knitted cuffs and bottom hem. Unlined with taped seams.
Navy blue body with rich red trim that peeks out from under the collar, making it even more distinctive.
No varsity letter or chevrons, but we did include a red J. Peterman logo on the left breast that's sure to catch the eye of your favorite cheerleader. Imported.
Men's sizes: S, M, L, XL, XXL.
Color: Navy blue with red trim.
