Men with Character.

This is an exact reproduction of a WWII army long-sleeved underwear shirt. It’s comfortable and dependable. You will wear this once and be hooked.

Al was a merchant marine. Volunteered in 1941 when he was 25 years old, married with two young children.

Not many remember, but during World War II, the merchant marines suffered the highest casualty rates. It was no secret, either; men knew it before they volunteered.

Al worked on an unarmed freighter for four years, carrying gasoline into theaters of war. Other ships refused to caravan near them. I am proud to present this shirt to you; it’s his favorite.

WWII Undershirt (No. 3732). Made with pure soft cotton in a fine rib knit. Two corozo buttons in center front. Band collar. Thread is a shade paler than fabric. Imported.

Men’s sizes: S, M, L, XL, XXL.

Colors: Red, Natural.

Best Shirts Ever!
These shirts (I have one in each color) are great! I waited until they were on sale, but I would have been happy with them at full price. Very soft and nice fabric. I love them and wish there were more colors. Nice, J Peterman!

I like it
This is a well made shirt, made of substantial material. I like it. But, as I have come to see, this shirt - as are many Peterman offerings are sized larger than their designation. I am a size 42-44 - solidly a Large. I bought a Large and it is loose, not baggy but certainly not a form fitting shirt as pictured. Recommended but watch your sizing.

Great find
Having grown up in WWII and being half frozen in the winters I wish these undershirts had been available for people too young to fight. They are terrific, especially for men now in their 80s
