Not Flimsy.

Normally, when you combine linen with unconstructed you end up with something too drapey. Flimsy. A sloppy look that does not inspire confidence.

This is not a flimsy blazer and neither is the man who wears it.

Yes, it hangs freely just the right amount. It is maverick in nature and must be paired correctly and worn with the right attitude. May I suggest our Breton striped tee and some dirty bucks? Get yourself to Monte Carlo, Cape Cod or Majorca. If any of these trips include business negotiations, even better. Mavericks don't need to be part of the herd. That’s their advantage. This blazer is not flimsy. And not for the herd.

The Unconstructed Linen Blazer (No. 5090).

(No. Not Flimsy). Single breasted with three buttons. Linen blend. Stone and enzyme washed with seam abrasion to look like you’ve already had it for years (and it gets even better with age). Bellows pockets with flap and button at each hip. Interior patch pocket with button closure at wearer’s left. Back waistband piecing. Vertical back shaping seams. Imported.

Men’s sizes: 36 through 48.

Color: Blue.

A little on the fantasy side
It's very well made and I like that. But a bit trim in the middle, yet big/long otherwise. There's an element to the pockets that suggest bananas are waiting to be withdrawn. Would look better with a captain's hat and a decent ocean craft. I got it to wear around the acreage on the not a nip to the wind but a chill to the air days. Best left unbuttoned while leading the new intern to the latest gallery installation. Really good, solid jacket!
