Last Chance Dept.
If you’ve been paying attention to the catalogue of late, you should be up to snuff on your toile history: its origination in France in the late 1700s. The LA Times article in early 2000s, “What's Good Enough for the Couch Is Good Enough for the Closet.” Yes, you know all this by now. Our love affair with toile isn’t a secret and we don’t mind sharing it, which is why we’re introducing this gorgeous line of flora toile to satisfy all your needs.
You may decide to make a brash statement by wearing these pieces together and expressing your love from head to toe. Very bold. Do what you have to do.
May I suggest a different scenario: You're traveling to Vienna because you love two things: Mozart and chocolate. Enough said. You obviously have exquisite taste. You’ll pack certain pieces of this collection—for example the tunic, pant and dress—to combine with your non-toile travel basics. One piece for the day you dabble in Freud. Another for the day you agonize over which chocolatier to die for. Another for the day you visit Schönbrunn Palace to see the room Mozart and rival Antonio Salieri engaged in their famous composer contest. Salieri won but it was not he who wrote Requiem.
Again, your exquisite taste wins out.
