Well Red.

You don’t paint the town blue.

Pink roses are okay.

Green velvet cake?

Red is the color.

As in a gorgeous red Ferrari. Bright red lipstick. The Red Sea. Red in the face.

Red means stop. Danger. Don’t go past this point. Do not touch. And yet we can’t help but want to do all of the above.

Red is life.

Red is courage.

Scientists have concluded that the color red pulls our retinas forward causing red objects to appear to be moving toward us. Red is literally a magnet to our eyes.

This is an A-line red dress with two streamlined pleats at waist. It’s a stretch crepe fabric that’s absurdly easy to wear, gliding with your body’s movements. It has enough confidence in itself to be paired with your eye-catching necklace or hat. Shoes? Go crazy.

There are occasions that call for something special.

Are you ready?

Great idea, but poor execution
Alas, I'm sending this dress back. And I had such hopes.... The tucks above the waist would be flattering, but they aren't stitched in place well, so the weight of the fabric and ordinary movement flatten them out. Could they have been topstitched? Im not a seamstress, but something should have been done to hold their shape. This lack of workmanship makes the dress unattractive and cheap looking. What's going on with Peterman? Not the first time in the past year or so the quality hasn't been up to snuff.

Soooo Disappointed ! I give it NO stars if I could.
The pleats in this dress are not stitched down but only tacked in 4 places across the front. The weight of the Crape fabric pulls the pleats open between the tacks leaving funny looking, ugly, puckers across the front not the sleek pleats pictured in the catalog.i truly thought it was a manufacturing defect until customer service told me that's the way it's made and if I didn't like it send it back. Most definitely sending this design mess back.

I thought the shade of red would work with my coloring but its a real, true cherry red and washes me out. The construction is quite bulky more a fall dress that spring and summer, and the fit didn't work for my body. The description says it's an A-line, but I think the skirt is quite straight, which just didn't work with my hour glass shape. Sending it back. I've never had to return a purchase from Peterman, but I'm returning two dresses ordered the same day.
