The Long and Short of It.

For the record: The button down did not originate at Harvard Business School but on the 19th century polo field, to keep collars from flapping about, so the whole thing makes perfect sense.

They became standard issue in this country, ever since "The Man in the Grey Flannel Suit."

But, alas, no surprises.

Unless the button down shirt in question is in a denim.

A denim button down can't be pigeonholed.

Neither can the man who wears one. And that man (you, quite possibly) will not find a better denim button down than this.
