Last Chance Dept.
There’s a new "athleisure" movement. Have you heard this?
How about that very famous German designer who said sweatpants were a sign of defeat? I knew what he meant but I never agreed with the statement. If you’ve given up in the greater sense it doesn’t matter what you’re wearing. But if you’re taking on each day the way brave men took ground in our greatest wars than I say, to the victor go the spoils.
And the spoils could mean propping your feet up with a cocktail and watching the game. Or testing out the new hammock among the spruces. Dusting off your father’s train set you’ve been meaning to set up (since you were six). Going to the gym to work the heavy bag. Working on your cross corner shot. Reading the Capote biography. Felling the hazardous pine that’s about to flatten your garage.
Leisure can take on all forms of activity and inactivity. Here are a few items with French terry fabric (that inside out look) to aid in the comfort of being a man.
The Reversible Quarter Zip Sweatshirt (No. 4677).
Has the same two sided look as the sweatshirt (smooth/inside out). The quarter zip top gives it a bit more panache. Good for a dressier form of leisure or working the heavy bag. Antique nickel zipper at front placket. Twill tape to clean finish zipper and placket bottom edge at inside (no raw edges or seam allowance visible). 2 1/2” rib cuff. Self fabric back half moon.
Men’s sizes: S, M, L, XL, XXL.
Colors: Army Green Heather, Classic Navy Heather.
