Foregoing the Fuss.

Even Gatsby got tired of all the buttons on his collarless shirt.

He of course would throw this on post tennis match en route a mint julep, acknowledging the lovely simplicity of an uncomplicated linen pullover.

Don't trust it yet
My past experience with a Peterman shirt was not good. The shirt looks great. But the material was very stiff and thus not comfortable. Wrinkled at the blink of an eye and was a total B H to iron. Had same experience with a Denim dress. Looked great Stiff as a board which no amount of washing cured. Unless a description of shirts STATE that the material is very soft and flowing, I won't take a chance on another.

Go for it !
I'm 66 and Peterman doesnt carry tall sizes ( hint hint). I usually order XXL and hope for the best. Sometimes I have to return the garment sometimes it fits, sometime my tailor takes it in for a modest fee, which is the case here. I feel the shirt is overpriced but I was pleasantly suprised how it looked on me. The material is lightweight and I liked the stripes which are woven in. I took a change but the shirt looked better than I expected. If you like the Peterman shirt, this is similar but a tad better made. Its probably overpriced by 10 or 15 dollars but if you like this style and I do, Go for it !
