The 12 Days of Christmas
Last Chance Dept.
In Eastern France, women have perfected the work shirt look because they have perfected the art of sweating in the sun for many hours then retiring to the pergola for chilled Beaujolais. Soon, you’ve forgotten their arms were elbow deep in dark, rich soil just minutes ago. You assume they got dressed like this for the occasion when in fact it’s just a respite from the fields.
They wear tunics like this.
For more unrestricted movement in the field or, say, the beach, you can go sans belt, which, in operation, is better suited for leisurely afternoon endeavors in the city or dressier social occasions.
In fact, you may find yourself needing several of these tunics for work and play.
Or as in Eastern France, one may evolve effortlessly into the other.
