Last Chance Dept.
Chemistry, be it sexual or otherwise, envelops us so completely for one very simple reason: its clarity. It’s either there or it isn’t.
This 1930s dress by way of Cologne and a vintage necklace from the Midwest met in our design room. The synergy was obvious so we didn’t just put them on the same page, we literally put one on top. It looked so good we started using components of the necklace in other areas such as the waistline. Now the two are inseparable. Like Jagger and Richards. Or Scott and Zelda. Or Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The result is this uniquely vintage beaded cocktail dress. A chemistry-induced scandal is neither encouraged nor included but is, however, likely.
The Beaded Cocktail Dress (No. 4787). 100% polyester. Fully lined. Upper calf length. Scoop neckline with bead detail — two rows of round faceted beads and loop bead detail with 3" drop. Four rows of faceted beads at waistline with slight gathering. Bra keepers at shoulders. Invisible zipper in back. Gathered flounce at hemline for extra flair.
Women’s sizes: 0 through 20.
