Every autumn, 200 dieties are said to convene and pay tribute to Lord Rama in the Kullu Valley, which some people consider the most beautiful valley on earth.

Vistas of mighty snow-capped Himalayas, tall waterfalls, acres of exotic wildflowers…and a kind of handwoven cloth so remarkable, it's protected by Indian government patent.

Patent violations can be punished by fines of 200,000 rupees, which is a pretty penny no doubt.

Kullu Coat (No. 3046), in pure wool treated for uncommon softness, lightness, and a crêpe-like texture (secret Indian process). Square-cut, with shawl collar. Cotton-voile lined sleeves. Big chunky fringes.
