Why didn’t I think of this before?

“Because,” Fabrizio, my fabric man in Florence says, “you didn’t ask me.”

He reminds me that on his mother’s side, his great aunt, “Marquis Cuttica di Cassine,” went to the famous riding school, Scuola di Equitazione di Pinerolo. And, out of that school, came Federico Caprilli, who revolutionized horseback riding.

And that’s how the Caprilli Blazer (No. 3481) came to be. In 96% wool and a little stretchy something to keep it all crisp. Notch collar and lapel. Small touches abound: lapel is 1-1/2” longer than collar.

Eight textured antiqued brass buttons. Waist darts. Angled
double welt pockets with flap.

Chic and elegant.

Fabrizio, never one for understatement, describes this as
a small masterpiece.
