When the Queen takes her beloved Corgis and two Dorgis
(a Dachshund Corgis mix and very cute) for “walkies” on the grounds at Balmoral, she’s been known to wear a cord skirt, scarf,
and sweater.
Though I might venture to say, not these cords, scarf, and sweater.
However, there are certain other Royals who will know exactly what to do with them. You know how drafty it gets in these old palaces.
Saucy Scoop Neck Sweater (No. 3327) in a 100% wool with a soft hand, which makes it also very cozy. Ribbing around neckband continues on kangaroo pouch pocket. Fully-fashioned armhole. Long sleeves with 4-½” ribbed cuff.
This one doesn’t like to stay home often.
Attitude at no extra charge.
Women’s sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL.
Color: Navy.
Hot Tomato Cord Skirt (No. 3385).Nice length. Contrasting waistband cord is horizontal. Trouser hook with center front fly. Front scoop pockets at side with topstitching. Back waist darts for additional shaping.
You’ll brighten even the greyest day.
Women’s sizes: 2 through 18.
Color: Hot Tomato.
Dramatic Knit Scarf (No. 3368).
Incredibly soft, lightweight, and warm at the same time in a 55% acrylic, 30% nylon, and 15% mohair mix. Swept around your neck in that way you do it, even dull court things you royals have to contend with, will be almost exciting.
(The Queen might even be persuaded to wear this.)
One size: 12” wide, 72” long, 5” fringe.
Color: Pink, Magenta, Green Stripes.
