Grape Press designed and used for a small quantity of house vines (trellised vines around the house), a miniaturized version of the standard, vineyard wine press. Very sturdy cast iron and oak. The square hole on the shaft requires a squared bolt. Perhaps some French farmer was able to make the round bolt found with the press fit into the square hole, but we don't know how! Otherwise, fully functional. Hérault wine region, Ca. 1920.
Grape Press (No. C386). Dimensions: 22" H x 16" W x 14.5" D. Shipping: $40.
